Wondering if the Mini P180 from Antec can hold a Mini ITX Motherboard. Or if I need an ITX case.

you might be able to mod it, but usually it will say mini-itx if it is compatable

The spec on newegg only says micro ATX on it so I think you'd need to mod it yourself to make it fit.

Mini-ITX is smaller than mATX. So the case has more than enough room for it.

As for it actually fitting. You will have no problem. Any mini-ITX motherboard would fit in an mATX case or ATX case. The mounting holes line up to that of the case.

I thought Mini-ITX differed slightly in where the mounting holes were located, but if what aksthem1 is saying is correct, then go for it.

Thanks for the support guys =]

I went ahead and got the Mini ITX case with a power supply built in. But now I have a new problem.

This isn't my first build, and I'm confused because the Case I got didn't come with motherboard installation instructions, which wouldn't be a problem, except it doesn't have spacers either.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811154084

I got this and was wondering why it doesn't come with spacers. should I just mount it to the case and hope for the best (I'd rather not). Cause I'm pretty sure you need spacers to keep it from short circuiting.

It doesn't come with any stand offs, because it already has built in risers. From the pics you can see the little bumps.

If that were to still bother you. You could put some plastic or something else in between the motherboard.
