Thanks CD, Thats why I usually don't show the bottom 2 shelves of my bench, the top shelf is scary enough...
Thanks..I've never used ClockGen I might have to try it if I'm topped out.My 32M was on some Team Promos PC 1300 I think, they have ProMos and don't run very tight, I can do a 650 with them at a 5-5-5-15. The 1M was on some Cell D9GKX, I cant get them over a540Mhz or so even at 2.4 v-dimm, there not really burned in yet..Hey I've had a hard time finding any decent ram since my Ballistix D9GKX died, those were screamers up to about a 620Mhz, I miss them...
I'm running a Waza file and run SPi in "real time" affinity to 0 and explorer.ex in affinity 1. I'm still trying different file sizes and download times I'm a real noob with it. I did a 32M at 5500Mhz and it was a few seconds over 10 minutes, so I have alot to learn tweaking it. I've always just run SPI 1M.
Appreciate all the tips and tweaks, keep them coming...
EDIT: Hey which version of ClockGen is the best for P35?
I was going to suggest using nLite to tweak your XP as well, but there are some other tweaks on XS that are also worth more investigation.
I am Mega, I have a stripped down XP Pro and another Win 2004 Server HDD, I haven't used it much the XP is running faster for me, the 04 is supposed to be a little faster but I must not have it tweaked right..
Hey Guys Thanks for all the support, I have 40 more pounds of DI and as soon as I wake up later this evening I'll try to pound some faster times out..Edited by ira-k - 12/6/08 at 12:38pm
