I bet the DFI will be better! And you probably won't have to RMA it 100 times to get it to work like with the ASUS, lol.
But its gonna be a hassle not getting a lot of DICE at a time. You know what you could do - just get a liquid CO2 cylinder, a hose, and a box. Just spray the CO2 into the box and DICE will come out! And the best part of it is that it will come out kind of like snow - maximizing the surface area of the pellets, giving you better cooling. And then you won't ever have to worry about getting too much or too little.
See? He's got a burnt motherboard and he STILL managed to use up all the ice benching! Now that takes some skill!
You know I thought I'd like that smaller stuff to, but it evaps to fast, after about the four hundreth+ time I got up to fill that little pot up I was stuffing as big of pieces in it that I could..
Believe it or not before I got this I was looking at doing just that with CO2, but its just so much easier to drive 4 miles up the road and buy 20# of it.....
I didn't cook my mobo till Monday, it booted up once then that was that, never made it to windows with it. I was actually kind of glad, I had about 5 pounds of DI left......So it was with a little relief that I flipped the top of the ice chest off and threw what was left out the back door, I didn't even want to play any little fog games with it in my beer...
