The Best Christmas Ever Build - Page 2

That tagan 1300W PSU is epic fail overpriced junk, if you dont believe me take a look at this review : http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/articl...50aHVzaWFzdA==

"lipstick on a pig" is right.

take a look at the corsair HX1000w PSU for half the price and twice the quality. i would probably go i7 920 instead of the 940 but thats just my opinion. everything else looks great .

Go with vista home premium 64 bit.
yep, i kind of facepalmed when i heard 64-bit was the wrong way to go with gaming

EDIT: the corsair HX1000 would benefit you way more, it is godly.

I'm running Ultimate 64bit and I've had nothing but PROBLEMS with 64 bit OS, keep an eye out and look around for a better OS.

Just something I thought I'd throw out there and grats on the build
dont give out suggestions based on your problems.

about 99% of the community runs 64 bit vista, and have minimal problems, including I, no problems whatsoever

So you would say that the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude has better sound quality than the one I chose?

Absolutely. The creative cards are nice, but the Auzentech is definitely a notch above. I own both and have them hooked up side by side, so I've done extensive comparisons between the XtremeGamer,XtremeMusic, and the Auzentech. The Auzentech simply sounds better.

do not get that tagan. it is epic failure. go with the corsair hx1000w: excellent quality, and always has great reviews.

also, save a bit of money and get the i7 920. if u want 2.93GHz, just overclock. that's the name of the site.

and, i'd be happy to list u quality products if u want to go for a drink and do watercooling.

and when u start building, pics would be appreciated cause this look like a cool build!
