Before hand let me add in a couple things. These are what i mainly tweak and how high ive jacked them up before and still werent stable. Ive also brought these down to almost auto values but they were so low i couldnt even boot. I just thought maybe if i reversed volts back down it could be that. but it wasnt. I also loosened my timings up to about 5-6-6-16 and -6-6-6-17

Running at 3.5 ghz with only 1.14V under load. Chip is a revision E0 with a VID of 1.15. I love the low temps. No need for a loud CPU fan. Overall this is a pretty good computer considering the motherboard is 3 years old and the memory is just cheap DDR800.

Yeah, I got lucky. It was cheap, too. I bought it at my local Microcenter for $169.99 plus sales tax. That's about $40 cheaper than you can find it anywhere else.

Q9550 E0 @ 4.04GHz 1.27v core w/8.5 multi on 1900 FSB. CPUID pic attached, but won't validate (some others have this problem too). But a pic is all I need...lol BTW, vid is 1.225v
post #936 of 2408
I've bought it for about 270€ ($380), because of the taxe (20% )-; )

pig69 => Validations don't work on Windows Seven (for me). Can you explain more about your overclock ? (other voltages that you rise).

I've tried to get 3.6 GHz via a FSB of 425MHz (Vcore 1.32 with LLC, vTT 1.2V PLL 1.54V vNB 1.14V) but It ain't still stable. I'll try without LLC but I think there's something wrong.

try a vtt of 1.3v and kick that nb v up to 1.2-1.3v. see if that helps.

I'm having problems getting mine stable in Everquest II
I can run 15 passes of IBT, 9hrs of Prime 95 Blend / small FFTs, but when EQ2 is on it will occasionally freeze my system and make a loud bezzzeeee sound in my headphones I have to manually hold power and shut down. This is at 3.95ghz

Found out my vid is 1.1375
Also EQ2 sucks ass, it has a checkbox in the display options for using multicore cpu's but coretemp shows core 3 at 80% load and the other three under 15% load while in windowed mode.

ps. it only freezes like once every other night not often.
