Intel E8400 - Ultimate OC!

Thread Starter
Greetings!

I've been overclocking my fantastic E8400 to the limits, but I'll need some help from smarter people.

CPU:

RAM:

My specs:
Asus P5Q Pro
2GB Kingston KVR800MHz DDR2
Enermax 520W Modu82+
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
Noctua NH-U12P

My temperatures are around 30-40`C in IDLE -mode.
When I'm playing, Crysis (for example), my temperatures are 40-50`C.

My voltages are on auto, except the CPU voltage.
I won't overheat anything or get burned, I just want to make the world's best overclock!

Thanks for everyone!

The ultimate overclock for that proc is close to 6ghz on LN2, I doubt you will get that high but it looks good right now, when going for a processor overclock be sure to lower your ram strap to rule that out

Never put any voltage on auto.

Don't put your CPU voltage over 1.3625, and you may be able to go farther,

I'm guessing your core voltage is around 1.2 with a drop?, set it to around 1.3 and see how high you can get, then lower it from there!
looking good so far
