i've easily owned four or five XFX products, sometimes without knowing they were until a GPUz or a trip down memory lane...

if this is true what will they do to radeons to persuade me away from iceQ??

The idea of a jet-black XFX style 4850 is making me think dirty thoughts right now.

FUD is accurate when it comes to:

- Captain obvious info
- Pricing
- Chip fab process (The INQ too on all 3 of these, might have spin)
- Distributor in-talk (Fuad is really good at this, he got the nVidia partner cutting rumour right)

FUD sucks when it comes to:

- Unknown chip info (He never puts out accurate specs)
- Performance estimates
- Differentiating between forum posters and news.
that should become a sticky...

Then don't always buy the most expensive card which games from 1 year might really start to need ^^"

That has very little to do with a double-lifetime warranty or not, computer hardware depreciates at a stupendous rate - the warranty will certainly help out in resale value, or it might be a nice thing if you give your old cards to friends/family.

it's not a gimmick lol i can sell my 9800GX2 for more than other vendors cards because they have a lifetime warranty just like if it was new. it does add to the resale value of the cards no doubt.
