I haven't used vmware much recently, but I'm sure you can share folders over a virtual network with the vm and the host...that's what I've been doing in virtualbox (couldn't get vmware working acceptably....the windows install got slower and slower...i never got through an install).

Yes. Just drag and drop it, after you have VMware Tools installed.

I have the tools installed, but I can't drag and drop.
