Driver problems with HD4850.

Whenever I play Crysis for about 10 minutes it crashes giving me that wonderful Atimkdag issue. I know what it does and how it helps and what it's suppose to mean. I switched then from 8.9 to 8.11 drivers, didn't help. They say it could be a problem with the game, but it also happened to me in one of my other games, Perseus Mandate (None of the other FEARs though). So I thought it was a hardware issue. I used furmark to stress my GPU, after a little more than 30 minutes the max temp hit was 74c and it was not affecting it, during crysis the highest it has hit was 56c. Then I used prime 95 for my other overclocks for about 10 hours, everything was fine. I even underclocked my CPU and ram with no solution. Finally 8.12 drivers came out, those do not help either.

...Whew....

One more thing. I have noticed there seems to be an invisible "line" that is always on screen, I don't know if its a scaling issue. Basically it looks like when I am moving I am watching a Claritin commericials because everything above 1/3 of the screen that comes towards that lower half instantly becomes clear and looks a little distorted above right where the "line" is.

Wipe your hard drive clean and reinstall you whole OS with new drivers. All of those things should not be happening. The divided screen look could be possibly do to your monitore... but if it is your card then that needs an RMA. I have vista ultimate 64 bit, and crysis crashed on my fairly often, but I never had problems like the ones you described. Not good...
