Besides I have seen in several forums people talk of the stress that load-line puts on the various voltage regulating parts of your mobo when you combine it with a high v-core. I've seen ppl only recommend it to get your vcore down some. I'll probably just stay at 3.4ghz, and take your advice and not try a peak it out.
Well, then you need a better cooler then.

Uh but for a $35 cooler, a 1ghz increase isn't bad. Anyway thanks for the help I got it stable at 3.4ghz in P95 for 9 hours temp is 61 on the hottest core. Again, thanks all.

I am getting some bad sound distotion at 1.39 Cpu voltage. It ran stable for nine hours, but upon re-boot the sound was high pitched. I had to change the the voltage in Bios to 1.386. This removed the distortion for now but i\\I know this wont be enough voltage. I read in a guide on the]is site that playing with the Cpu GTL Reference can "help filter electrical noise." I'm still at what I have posted on the previous page. What is a safe boost in this voltage, or am i not going in the right direction? Anybody? I just want to get it stable at 1ghz over stock.

Give it a try...I run it @ 0.67 and have used 0.65 @ 4.0

Ok just wanted to check before I start playing with things I'm not to good with yet. I'll give it a try. Thanks

I need like 1.47 almost to do 3.4 and that turns into a 1.44 window drop and then down to 1.392 when I am priming, but I have no need to stress my cores for retarded amounts of time - as I do not fold - this thing never crashes, 20min prime stable.

Well I'm getting 13 hours stable p95 with a BIOS voltage of 1.393 (1.30 in windows under load). It didnt fail after 13 hours I just stopped it, to lap my chip and cooler. I saw a 5 degree drop after the As-5, set in before lapping and the temps stayed the same with fresh AS5 after lapping. So in a couple days, I should see the 5C or so drop in a day or two.
I do see that you don't have the GO q6600 so thats why I need less vcore.
