I haven't bought too many games in the past two and a half years, but I have bought Fallout 3, The Witcher ED and Gears of War lately.

Gears of War was a short but very fun game to play. The graphics were good and the game play was excellent. I really enjoyed the strategy involved in using objects for cover. It added a nice touch to the game.

The Witcher ED I actually haven't played much of yet, so there really isn't much I can say.

Fallout 3 is a great game, no doubt. I played the first two games and loved them, so when I heard FO3 was coming out, I was very excited. The graphics are stellar, FPSish game play with the addition of VATS to add almost a turn based piece to combat from the first two games is great. I'm really enjoying the story line and having a blast exploring the area. I'm finding it very fun to see all the sites post-nuclear war that I saw about a year and a half ago for real. If you take your time and do side quests and explore, it's actually a very long game (I'm at ~62 hours with still a side quest and 1 main quest left).

I would highly recommend Fallout 3 and Gears of War. I bet The Witcher ED is great too; I just haven't played it yet because I wanted to finish FO3 first.
