[PS3Fan]Dark Knight = Fastest Blu-Ray Sales Ever - Page 7

to watch it in blu ray format buy the 15 dollar dvd and turn your brightness up and viola you have blu ray. This was actually a bad transfer in all honesty the director add in EE (Edge enhancements) and NR (noise reduction) filters. All tvs have this kind of ehancement already and should be turned off to appreciate high def. Look at transfers such as spider man 3 thats a reference transfer right there.

You do?

The thing is... I won't get a PS3 so my only option is to wait until blue-ray burners get to at least close to the price of current DVD drives.

OFFTOPIC: Haha waffles NrGx that's acually a good sig thing.

The imax scenes were epic on blu-ray in 1080p

Was anyone else annoyed by the changing aspect ratios? I didn't mind it so much, made the imax resolutions look that much more amazing!

Blu-Ray is clearly not a failure, PS3 uses it and its the only way of getting High Definition Films on a disk that is playable in most consumer homes.
If it was a failure, why did they stop making HD-DVDs?

As for TDK its a damn good film, however I never saw Keanu Reeves play the Joker in the end as a replacement to Heath Ledger :s

What a helpful post. If choosing 'A' over 'B' because 'A' better suits my needs makes me a fanboy, so be it. It isn't like I bought a PS3 just because it's made by Sony, or has the Playstation logo. I bought it because 1.) It does what I want 2.) It does what I want better than anything else I've tried. Bleh. I dont know why I bother defending myself.

I'm another one. People just assume that I'm a SONY Fanboy. I can't help it that the products I like or want are SONY. I have Sony Studio Monitor Headphones, and a Playstation 2.

I want a PS3 and SONY Bravia TV. People call me a fanboy because of that. Not because I don't want to pay money for online gaming *cough* XBL *cough* or that I want a multimedia player with an Operating System and Blu-Ray. No, it's because I'm a fanboy.

I just tune out when people call me that because they don't know what they're talking about, they're just talking smack to make themselves look good.
