Comp not starting after new upgrades

Thread Starter
Hey
i have upgraded my current computer (sig) with a core i7 920, GA-EX58-DS4, 3x2gb g skill 1333mhz ram, and a new Thermaltake TP Qfan 850W psu. I have formatted my hard drives and now i have installed everything. I turn my computer on and nothing comes up on the screen, the computer is running, however after a few seconds, it beeps continuously until i think it resets. I looked in the mobo manual and for short continuous beeps it said that it is a power problem. I'm not sure what i need to do, i think i have connected all the power connections, please help me. Thanks.

Find beep codes for your motherboard beacuse some beeps say memory is bad and other gpu .........

Edit:

I think it s memory timings in bios.
You can just replace memory sticks with old 800 and see if it will work.
If it works on 800 then before you start computer with 1033 memory reset cmos with jumper
When you play with hardware remove power line cable from psu

For card first remove drivers and uninstall device from device manager and then replace card with old one and remove memory sticks to and use old one. Then flash bios with never one.

Edit:
Oh sorry ..replace 1333 with old 1033

Do this first
Just remove power cable and reset bios with jumper or take out battery for minute

reset cmos.

Reseat GPU.

Researt RAM.

Check power connectors.

Do it in that order of mix it up, it should work after.

:edit:

Though, the lack of visual suggests GPU, also try removing the RAM and making sure it gives the right error code. I think reseating the GPU and re-connecting the power connector should work though

:edit:
Forgot to mention this:

If it doesn't work, try using one stick of RAM and seeing if it'll work, if not, try another. If none work, then either all sticks of RAM are dead, your mobo is dead, you're dead, or your PSU is not strong enough.

the beeps are DEFINATELY RAM beeps, meaning that either the board does not support that particular ram, the ram is DOA or the board is screwed. sorry for the bad news but with every board that runs AMI bios (gigabyte included) that beep means the board does not see your ram as installed. try the cmos reset first but if it dont work, this is the most accurate info I have.
