Give it a try, but if your rig shuts down you will know.. When I first set up mine I had an Ultra 750 X2 and it did not have enough amps to run both cards, the rig would shut down when I clocked them past 600/900.

Had to rig up a 2nd PS for the 2nd card until I got a new PS.

You meet the minimum 600-watt PSU requirement for running two 4870's in CF. Yes, your PSU should handle it. Of course the box will just list the minimum requirements, and not the recommended requirements... if there ever were any. But you should be just fine with your 600w Rosewill.

fudge, I don't know what to do. I could get this awesome xigmatek psu for $64.99 after 60 mri, 750watt!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817815002

I also need to hear from another reputable person that 600watts will cut it.

Its a rosewill PSU so I doubt it, I would grab a 750 Corsair PSU for them, with 4870's in 8x mode you can experience up to an 8fps difference over full 16x

8 fps? Who shivagets, most games are close to 100fps with 4870s!
well, I might just keep one 4870 and sell the other, two cards is great but I don't think I need both and don't want to fork out more money.

Does anyone want one of these? $155 plus shipping, that's all I paid.

You need a X48 chipset to get 2 X16 PCI-E 2.0 slots.
