U might wanna try when after u installed the game for the first time and have done all patches to make a back up of ure world of warcraft map on an external drive or something so that u dont need to reinstall when ure formating or something u can just put it back and play the game in a few seconds ^^

WoW isn't all that IMO. I played it for an hour, rid a Gryphon and got bored. Then I uninstalled it and had a scrim match on CoD4 and a chat with some guys on Ventrilo, much more fun.

What I did was went to wowwiki, found the patches from the beginning of BC to 3.0, downloaded them while installing the 9 discs of vanilla/BC. Sure it took 4 hours or so, but that's because my internet is slow (180kb/s download). Multi-tasking FTW, play a gungame while you wait
