Yeah, i already suggested him the TRUE 120. Would it fit in an Antec 900? and does it come with a 120mm fan? The price of the asus silent & the extreme 120 are exacly the same aswell.

The price is indeed good for its capacity. should i go with 2 of them or should one be enough?
Do you have great benefits of putting 2 and setthing them into raid?

Edit: Noticed the mobo also supports upto 1066 ram, so i'm going to replace the current ones with these:
Corsair DIMM 4 GB DDR2-1066 Dominator EPP Kit

the build is pretty good
if you want to achieve a higher overclock
asus is usually the way to go
but i use a gigabyte board too, so no offense to gigabyte board, but generally asus is better higher clock range.
I said asus because this is overclock.net and not stableclock.net, lol

Well, i never oc'd an intell, so i'll probably have to ask advice arround here to get it done. But i'm not aiming for a rediculous high OC

Reaching 3.4 or something would be nice enough for him
He dousn't really play newer games and even if he did having this CPU at stock would do good enough..

The OC is just that extra performance for him.

For the HDD, since your friend is a gamer, get the Western Digital Velociraptor 10000RPM HDD. It loads into games faster than normal 7200 HDDs. 150GB or 300GB. Use one of those for your key programs, games, etc. And an HDD of your choice, for data like music and movies. WD Caviar HDDs are nice.

For the power supply you want to future proof yourself for crossfire so go 700W or above just in case. PC Power & Cooling makes very good PSUs.

PSU: Corsair TX750W has more adaptors for CF options. 4x PCIe 6pin. May be you need that later.

I have the Antec 900... very nice case. You will love it.
But when you install 2 of these large Graphic Cards; the middle cage is not usable for the HD's.

Greetings to BEL.
The European Prices are way higher then here.

The case I advised him the antec 900 since alot of people seem to rate that case for its quality.
it's a good case for the price indeed, however it's a bit fragile. a single punch on the sidepanel did quite some damage ;-)

it also arrived damaged from delivery (the egg) had to straighten it a bit so the powersupply could fit where it was supposed to right under the expansion slots.
