Sunbeam Core Contact Bolt Thru Kit?

Thread Starter
I have this Sunbeam core contaft creezer, im getting decent temps, 35 idle, 54 load with E8500@ 4.5Ghz(1.35V). Im wondering if there is a bolt thru kit that is compatible with this cooler, as i might get better temps with it, i dont really like this design they have. It basically converts your socket 775 to an am2 socket type mount. The cooler looks like this :

Nope. There isn't. The main reason why I don't recommend this cooler.

35 idle 54 load @ 4.5 ghz seems pretty good to me, why would you need to go any lower? There really is no reason to lower your temps at this point.

The core contact freezer is awesome on am2 based systems, but fails on lga775.

That looks like a better converter though, if anyone can find it.

I'm really not sure, but if you don't mind taking the risk, maybe the thermalright bolt-thru kit would work -

Works with the Xig.

EDIT: Don't think it will work unless you have the pushpin attatchment. Sorry.

Why cant we take the AM2 mount off the cooler and use that bolt-through kit with a washer or two as a spacer?

Personally, theres not too much to lose. If you're slightly handy with tools, I'm sure you could probably get something to work.
