[TPU] SAPPHIRE Launches Special Water Cooled ATOMIC HD 4870 X2 Video Card - Page 6

I loll'ed at the time I cooled my 8800GT (Block from a Coolermaster Duo Viva) and my e6850 (Thermaltake Block) with a Thermaltake Bigwater 12cm, single rad, 120L/hr, it was so much better than stock cooling. You never know, this might work surprisingly well.

The problem we all seem to share is that Sapphire has dumped over-priced WC junk on the poor consumers hoping that they will pay the extra money for the "OOOO, WC!" effect.
Who is paying? The consumers are for that "OOOO, WC!" effect. If that is worth the extra amount they are paying to them, I see no reason why extra choice is a bad thing.

Please tell me............ this is a joke.

That TINY radiator cooling a 4870x2 AND a CPU? And to top it off, the tubing looks like........
That's a pump, not a CPU block.

EDIT: Already stated, but oh well

I'd wait for a review, until then there's nothing much to say.
If they came up with the idea, the'd make a function product, right?

Indeed your no expert since you're talking about the power of the rad...
I wouldn't be surprised if this thing had the exact same load temp as the normal air-cooled versions at 75%+. And he said ''decent air'' so I'm pretty sure aftermarket coolers go in there if you're talking single-PCB 4870.

And what's wrong with him talking about the rad being bad? You do realize there are good and bad rads... If they gave me this loop for free I wouldn't use it on anything except maybe a NB or SB.
