Rampage formula vs. Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P - Page 4

Yup, pretty much what I expected. Really wishing I got this instead of my rampage. Even though I am a gamer my 4870x2 should last me for quite some time, and I will not need CF. Not losing any sleep over it, but it does burn when a board for half the price smokes the rampage

Thanks guys

There's always a noob out there who will buy your used Rampage Formula.

As for me, I don't game, and so the Gigabyte board is just fine. The GPU is even overkill, so I'm just folding on it.

Exactly my thinking.... I do game, but this card should last me for quite some time I would think. I'm debating throwing it up on ebay.

Be careful, paypal now holds your payment for 21 days on all computer components, that is why I refuse to sell stuff on there

and you can't overlook that the rampage formula is about $150 USD above the UD3P, and yet, the UD3P has been hitting 600+ fsb using immature BIOS's and its a new board
but that's just my .02

...the point of the thread was to show how the Rampage was better than the UD3P in whatever ways.

not to strike him with lightning in the already-rainy mood he's in.

^^ yes, i know. it's a terrible metaphor.

I didn't realize this either, but it doesn't surprise me. Ebay had been going down hill.

They hold all payments on accounts less than a year old and accounts with less than 100 feedback with no negative plus a bunch of other components besides computers. You can read about it on their site, I was gonna sell my Opteron on ebay but I refuse to have my money held for 3 weeks

It is supposedly to protect buyers so if their is a problem the seller cannot run with your money

U got it all mixed up.

Seller must have Paypal as a payment option for Computers and Electronics categories.
Sellers with less than a certain Feedback (100?), or 90 days old account are subject to have their funds held for 21 days or until the buyer leaves positive feedback, whichever sooner.
Don't judge me 100% on the 100 Feedback, might have been 75.

I am a powerseller on ebay, but meh, nothing to be proud of.
