Some Gateway 700MHz Intel Celeron, 256MB SDRAM, 10GB 5400 rpm IDE HD, 200w PSU, Windows 98, and integrated everything.... back in 2000, and costed around $800.

First computer in my house was an old IBM from ~'88. Black screen with green text ftw!

First computer I ever personally owned was an old compaq with a P1 133mhz, 2gb hdd, and a whole 32 megs of ram. Had a nice copy of win 98 on it.

A Macintosh Color Classic with 4mb of ram. Damn, that thing was slow.

LOL yeah where you had a connection cable run outside the case from your vid card to the voodoo1 then back out to monitor.

First desktop I personally owned: A64 3800+, 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD, ATI X1600Pro, 300W PSU, not too old by this thread's standards...

First family desktop I remember: some 486 that ran Windows 3.1 but I forget the specs. Definitely a dinosaur, but man, do I have fond memories of hacking Sim City 2000 source files to embezzle money when I was like 8 years old...
