RivaTuner question

Thread Starter
Hey guys and gals, in the past I used CCC to overclock my GPU. The maximum it allowed me to overclock to was 790/1100. I heard that RivaTuner was a better program to overclock with so I checked it out. It looks good so far I overclocked to 850/1100 without any problems so far.

However when I overclock it to high the screen screws up (I'm sure you've all seen it before) and I have to restart my computer. I'm wondering if there's a way to change my settings back to the default when this happens so I don't have to restart? I can see an option called "restore clock frequencies after suspended mode" is this it?

Thanks in advance.

De-select the option to apply the clock settings at startup. Once you find a stable OC, you can re-enable it.

If you were in Vista, the driver would just restart, but in XP, you get a BSOD. BTW have you tested for stability at all. ATITool artifact scanner will show you when you have gone too far (yellow dots will appear in the scan window).
