vista 64 poor wireless signal?!?!

Thread Starter
I upgraded my os to vista ultimate 64 bits sp1 but the thing that annoys me is that the wireless signal in vista at 46% while in xp i always get 100%.

Is it a know "feature" of vista or is there a hotfix for this?

I got the driver for my wireless usb adapter from the manufacturer website so i know it's not because of the hardware.

Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure the strength of the signal has nothing to do with what OS youre using.

Actually I'm sure it is driver related as I had the same thing and the drivers for my belkin seemed to suck and give me a low signal, untill they were updated. Now my signal is fine.
