Got CPU fine, now memory

Thread Starter
Got the e8500 stable at 4.16 (1ghz OC yay!) 9.5x438 with no settings on auto at all

However my memory's got to be at 876 or 1052 to be stable (1066 memory)
with 5-5-5-15 2.1v

The stupid Ai Transaction booster i don't understand a thing in there tho.

what are memory phases?
if i put the transaction booster at lvl 10, i get 6 options:
pull-in from channelA phase1
pull-in from channelA phase2
pull-in from channelA phase3
(same for channel B)

if i put it to lvl 8 i get 10 options
same as above but phase1 to 5

i don't understand this thing and can't set it off, it's either auto or manual.

help me get my memory faster please ;-)

Dont worry about the pull-ins. All they do is lower or raise (depending on which way you go with them) the Transaction Performance level. So if you set the Trans Boost to 7, and enable pull-ins, they just lower the Trans Boost to 6. So leave the pull-ins disabled and set the Trans Boost only.

I would set the following:

Static Read Control: disabled
Ai Clock Twister: moderate (if not stable set to light)
Trans Boost to 7 (in not stable, set to 8, then 9)

You might have to drop Transaction Booster (tRD) to 8, or try "lighter" with the clock twister.

tRD is a major setting change and is impacted by the FSB speed, as well as the ram speed, while the Ai Clock twister is the fine tuning. So if at tRD of 7 and Ai Clock Twister at lighter causes problems, try setting tRD to 8 and setting the Ai Clock Twister to moderate.
