Overclocking iMac

Thread Starter
Hello, I have an iMac, running Windows XP SP3 under Boot Camp. My ATI graphics card is running under Omega Drivers. Everything seems to be fine, although I won't to overclock the graphics card from it's current stock. I tried calculating the overclock from Omega's ATI tray tool, but I get a blue screen of death and then my computer does a safety restart. I also tried moving the sliders, and they just reset back to their default positions. It would be nice if someone could help me on overclocking my graphics card to something a little more fascinating.

Regards,
Mikeyy

Download rivatuner, and enable low level hardware OC. Try setting it to just 10mhz above your current clock, and then try and inch your way up from there. If you really want to go all out there are probably some volt mods that can be done to the card to allow you to clock much higher.

Launch rivatuner, and click on the the diagnol pointed arrow near the top, below the monitor icon. It should have some basic information about your card running along. Click on the icon that looks like an PCI card (its green), then click on the box the says "enable low level overclocking". Restart when prompted. After reboot go back to the same menu and adjust the clock speeds to your liking. Start slow and move your way up.

I am new to this but AMD GPU Clock Tool worked well for me. Mikey do you happen to know your stock 3DMark06 score. I am curious how far behind a desktop HD2600 XT my mobile HD3650 is.

I can't get RT to work?
