Making Cheap Filters for Antec 900

Thread Starter
I have read posts complaining that the Antec 900 is hard to keep clean so I though I would post how I have attemepted to keep it somewhat clean.

I was at a Home Depot a while ago and these caught my eye.

I was not even thinking of putting any kind of filter on my case but I thought I would try something anyway.

Instead of putting one filter in front of each fan wich may or may not have been easier I opted to put a filter in each of the grills.

First, I took the foam pieces out of grills too use as a template.

Placed piece on sheet of filter and traced with a Sharpie to make cutting easier than cutting around the piece.

Then placed cut out filter into the grill and put grill back into case.

These may or may not be the best things to use, if anybody has any suggestions on an alternate material to use, I would apreciate it.
These have definetly cut down on the dust inside my case, and it is in an extreemley dusty area that is in the process of being cleaned.

I am planning to put a filter on the front (inlet) side of my WC radiator shroud to keep me from having to clean it.. Nice find!
