Xtreme Gamer, no sound. - Page 3

switch pci slots, sometimes its the case has been for me in the past with wireless cards, sound cards, 3dfx voodoo 2 cards etc. sometimes the PC just screws up on a pci slot, switch it to another vacant one and it just may work.

I tried them all. And on three different motherboards. (EVGA 780i before RMA, EVGA 780i RMA replacement, and XFX 780i) All with no joy.

The sound bit sampling rate option is at two different locations, and if you change one from 48 to 96 or back, the other has to match or no sound . Happened to me once for a few hours. Creative's Support page steered me through the issue and got her up and running.
