I've played a good part of it already and it's really sweet! The only thing that I don't like is that there's not as much combat as the previous ones (Warrior Within, etc.) and that you don't die in this.. I know it sounds stupid, but you never die. So you can just hack away at the boss without fear of dying because if you do die then the game brings you back to life and the boss still has health missing.

ye its not as challenging as the first ones, but i still find it fun to play alot of colors and flashy things to keep me with it

and heres some screenshots for the thread note i'm running 1680-1050 all max settings 2x aa for these pictures (pictures are downsized to 1160 by something cant remeber lol)

I can post some also, running at 1920x1200 with 8xAA and 16x filtering. Runs great even with my chip at 3.6 Ghz. Will have to wait until tomorrow though because I just finished playing 8 hours of it

May not be as challenging as others, but it keeps me hooked, and the dialogue gets pretty funny sometimes.

Issue:
I had to disable my sound card to play the game for more than a few minutes. I was able to get to the part where Elka's dad starts yelling, then my game would just crash and I'd get this horrible looping sound until I restarted my computer. Disabled my Xonar and switched to onboard and it worked fine.

Then I tried to login to ubisoft's support site and that gave me:
"The site encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later or contact us if the problem persists."

Other than that, great game. Looks amazing at 1680x1050 4x AA. I just kind of hate collecting the life seeds. I mean, Its awesome watching him do wall runs and such, but seriously, haven't games evolved past collecting glowing orbs by now? I really enjoy the combat, dialog, and story though.

i just kind of gave up on the orbs lol, i get the ones that are on my path but i'm not going out of my way for them anymore. and from my experience ubisoft has the most horrible support ever server crashing from vegas 1 where horrible and the sound bugs carried from the first to second game for that matter. i hate ubisoft sometimes lol

and i will soon have a second video up hopefully it will be higher quality i exported it at a much higher res howfully that transfers over better, curses youtube

To those who have played a good amount of this game: Is it worth buying? I liked the other prince of persia's but this one doesnt look so good imo. I dont mind the cell shaded graphics at all, as a matter of fact i think they are pretty cool and look good with some of the effects in this game. What i dont like is how you cant officially die, and the combat seems slower. and also, is there any replay value? i dont want to blow 50$ on something im gonna play for 10 hours.
