yeah with watercooling. 900mhz benchable...maybe even higher, haven't pushed it more than that but I don't think it will do too much more without voltage increases.

^ wow nice, but me and the OP are on stock so that makes a big difference This thread has got me pushing my 4870 now on stock voltage so far at 810 on core.

You ought to be able to get higher than that. I can bench at 850, but for normal use I have to lower it a bit. I haven't done an extended test, but I've run 840 while gaming with no problems for a few hours. All on stock voltage of course.

wow maybe i have a cherry picked card. my 4870 1g runs 850/1050 on stock voltages. your volt mod looks awesome. wish i had the balls to mod my card like that.

Yeah my 4870 does 820/1000 without any vmods, though I did buy mine when they first came out so it could be a little diff then the new 1gb ver.

Good luck, good mod there I've never had enough *balls* to physically mod a card of yet!
