Yeah the 750 has every wire coming out of the PSU box. If there are connectors that you are not plugging into anything they stay wadded up by your psu. With a modular PSU you unplug them, take them out of you case and keep them until you upgrade something that needs to be power and then plug in what you need.

So that's like the only reason it's more expensive? right? Well I've heard that too much power is bad for a system. Well since their corsair would they regulate the power to how much it should exactly be? thanks. peace. now I feel like getting the 750 Watt instead. BTW what would happen if a rail had too much amps? Would it rip in half or something? Because the 620 hx seems to be safer from breaking. But since it's corsair it's alright they'll both probably last the same amount of time in years.

There's no such thing as that. The PSU only gives the amount of power the system requires. Heck, you could use a 1000w PSU on some old P3 right and it would work fine.

No such thing as what? Like the rails over amped? Over powered? Or no such thing as both?

So the only reason the hx is more expensive is because it's modular right? thanks.

That advantage isn't worth the extra $30 and 130 watts less. Thanks.
