Temps thrown off from GTZ install - Page 3

guess what...I tryed the swiftech thermal paste... dropped to 33-32-34-30... I will never buy artic 5 again... I had this problem with the gt running really hot at first but even core temps. so... I am speachless

maybe it was just a bad tube...

improper spreading, so you had bad contact..

I wouldnt bother trying to get any closer... Its very difficult to get a delta less then 5C from highest to lowest core..

And your right on it..

no I did it all exactly the same I must have done artic silver 12 times total between the 2 blocks... I lost it installing the gt the second time and went with the swiftech and poof good temps

If you want a better recomendation for TIM, i actually like MX-2. Its a little better then AS5 and is easy to apply like ceramic.
