help with cm690 front fan mount

Thread Starter
hey people, ive looked on this forum alot and have been inspired by many people with their cool looking cases, and thought now its time for me to try some things out.

as the title suggest im planning on mounting an intake fan in some of my spare 5.25inch bay drives in my cm690. i have seen it done before but im unsure on how to do it, i am planning on putting a 120mm led fan there as an intake. so can anybody here please help me out with this.

I have mine mounted using the bottom fan mount that comes with the case. It just slips into the drive bays perfectly. Heres mine:

Yup, just unscrew it then slide it into the drive bays. You dont need anything else to hold it in place.

Depends on what fan you use. I have a SFF21F in my Scythe Kama bay which I got for cheap and it works out perfect. It's only noisy if I put my ear right next to it.
