Radiator Leak :(

Thread Starter
Well, after hours of modding my Rocketfish and setting up to go for a fill & leak check, my radiator has a hole in it . This sux unbelievably. I got a new radiator, so I think it was during fan installation that I punctured a tube. Its right next to a fan mounting screw. (Push pull setup on a 320 QP.) Any ideas for a quick and permanent fix? Or am I getting a new rad?

If you can get to it clip the fins back away from the hole a little, sand the paint off and then solder a thin brass or copper piece over it. If you cant do that try some J&B weld on it, try not to push it into the hole anymore then you have to.

I once had an all wheel drive turbo Celica All-Trac. Busted a hole in the tranny and stuck some JB Weld on it. Lasted for years and I sold the car with it still plugged.

Point is, you can be surprised by the power of JB Weld...
