Just purchased a Wii - Page 2

I would just get Mario Kart for now. The wheel is epic and the game play is very addicting. Also, hook it up to the internet if you can. It adds another dimension. Between Wii Sports, Online, and Mario Kart, you won't need another game for a while. Let them get bored of those before you move on. My wife also like Wii Play but I found it a bit unpolished compared to Wii sports, so that's your call.

Make sure you get an extra controller so you have at least two. The batteries last a long time so I wouldn't worry about rechargeable battery packs right now. We have had our playing for over a month every day and our remote still show full battery power. If you have multiple systems and only one or two inputs on your TV, make sure you get a switcher. We have one that had four inputs since our TV only has one, so we can switch between the PS2, Wii, and anything else we want to connect.

Make sure your total haul is 4 controllers and 4 nunchucks (get the Mrs involved, too) and then get Smash Bros, Mario Kart Wii, and World of Goo.

World of Goo can be just for you, if you want.

We just got Super Mario Galaxy. My wife loves it. It is a lot of fun to play. I would definitely recommend it. Super Smash Bros is my next purchase.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Wii Play
Wario Ware: Smooth Moves
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Animal Crossing: City Folk
Mario Kart Wii
Rock Band or Rock Band 2 (I own both on Xbox 360, I dunno how they are on Wii)

wth are you talking about. There are 84 songs on the disc, and only about 3 of them could possibly be considered "emo "rock"". And go ahead, try to back up your statement, I'd love to meet the person that thinks The Allman Brothers, Judas Priest, Journey, Norman Greenbaum, etc. etc. are emo

yeah, i'm glad i kept my Wavebirds for SSBB, but other than that, as listed above

Super mario galaxy
Zelda TP
Metroid prime 3
(I hear RB2 is better than GH:WT)

i would recommend a classic controller if you plan on downloading virtual console games other than NES titles.

have fun
