Aspire One 150-1049

Thread Starter
I need a netbook and have been looking around.

I tried a similar version of this in store at Costco. It would have come out to over $370 after tax and it has less hard drive space and a weaker battery.

I found this slightly better Aspire One 150-1049 for $370 shipped

Is this the best deal for the money?

I don't know that that is the best deal. Walmart has them for 348, which may come out cheaper depending on your tax rate.

It is a nice netbook though, I have one and love it.

yep that's the best deal, but I'd get it from newegg.

Sorry, wasn't really looking at battery and all that. I think you'll enjoy your purchase. It's a nice little netbook. The mouse takes some getting used to (if you don't grab a USB one) other than that, it's awesome. Runs ubuntu like a champ. I didn't leave XP on it long enough to notice anything.
