Help with a system monitoring widget?

A while ago I found this really nice widget program called Samurize that allowed you to create and customize a widget to your liking. I fell in love with a module of Samurize call Vr_sysmon and I've made a few changes myself. This program is awesome for monitoring hardware and system activities.

Every part of this widget is customizable from the graph color all the way down to the overheating meter thresholds. Here's how it works: Samurize grabs hardware monitoring values from Windows OS information, RivaTuner and Speed Fan (via plug-in) then adds those values as a graphic representation that's more pleasing to the eye and more organized then all programs combined. You can add as many counters as your widget can fit. As cool as it sounds there are still many limitations and hurdles I can't overcome and need help.

1) Speed fan kills my video card for some reason and I can't use it for long.
2) River past doesn't work well with Samurize in showing GPU stats.
3) I would like to grab (fan speed, cpu temp, gpu temp...ect) these values without relying on speed fan or RivaTuner but I have no idea how to code or create plug-ins for Samurize.

Question: Is there anyone out there with Samurize experience (or interested in learning) that could point me in the right direction to get this monitor to it's fullest potential?

I have a feeling that many veteran and new overclockers could find this invaluable for troubleshooting and tuning.

I was going to code my own service for gpu temp/fan monitoring and adjusting but there is a lot of hw coding involved and its above my skill set currently. I contacted the author of RivaTuner to seek some advice/info help and he turns out to be a real douche bag, quite honestly. His application comes with dll's which I tapped into but I could only read values, not adjust fans etc. And also his things used a shared memory space etc so I gave up on that.

good luck with your endeavor, I am not familiar with that app but it sounds neat

Too bad about the douche. RivaTuner gave you the fan values too? Could you elaborate as to how you tapped into the RavaTuner's dll? All i need is the hardware values and I can forward those through a Samurize plug-in. As of now I only care about monitoring my system. I'll worry about overclocking later.
