So title says it well im getting about 4k lower 3mark scores and the cards over clocked from 700-790 and 900-990 ***ox

First which quad core do you have,cause i think your cpu is bottlenecking your gpus.Second i just ran 3dmark06 and gotta score of 19256,try to oc your cpu some more and see what happens.

you should of stuck with the 280 especially since you already have a nvidia board...

q6600 b3 steping and yes im running the 790i didnt know it matterd what board unless yerr unning a crossfire set up or sli right?

It doesn't matter.

I'm sure he thinks it would've been better had you gone to SLI instead.

I had the same score with my q6600 oced to 3.1,its your cpu.Since i got the q9550 and oced to 3.85 ive seen major results from both 3dmark06 and vantage.

I did GTX 280 --> HD4870X2 once as well running on an EVGA 780i. With a single GTX 280 overclocked I got around 18,100, while with the 4870X2 overclocked I got about 19,000 with my Q9450 @ 3.6ghz.
