Sorry if this was already asked, there are so many post. If I install a wireless card in my untangle router/pc will this work for wirelss to my other PC's?

Untangle does not support more than 3 NICs or wireless cards. Some other router OS do though but you need to ensure the Wifi card is supported.

I didn't notice a huge difference speed wise, but I was able to do a few torrents at one without any one of them dropping too much on the router vs the old. I think my problem is even though the new router is great, I'm using my old wireless router as a switch now. I decided to go wired and ordered some cables and a new switch from the egg. I should have that up and running Friday night or Saturday morning and will post back with hopefully much better results.

Make sure you set up QoS.

whats the purpose of a custom router? as long as it works, there is little ping (would need a gaming router for the super low ping), and you get full speed, should be good?
