We hit 20mb very often here. Here are my various speedtests:

As for the throttling. I could have sworn it was 6gb
EDIT: Sorry, its 6gb for me as im on the 20mb package as its a % of the threshold
Hi I'm on 20/1 ADSL

Old picture since my dad is downloading atm

No, he means fiber between the ISP and your home, not fiber between the ISP and the tier 1 providers.

On a related note, an Israeli ISP has started rolling just that out

Wow Pay £52 for a pile of crap. Will have nice bandwidth capping and crap customer support. Sounds divine...

I think I will stick to my 24mb down and 1mb up with Be* for a really expensive price (cough) £18 a month. Or even upgrade and get 2mb up for £22. Much better than the rubbish Virgin offer, I have never been limited and get good speeds/pings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

All in all, have fun to those that buy it, you may get the full 50mbps some days.

i always get my advertised speed(10Mbps Down - 1Up).
We actually get burst download rates that are much faster than our normal connection, sometimes the burst rate is double our normal rate.
And we've never been throttled, even with ridiculously heavy usage.

You're totally getting ripped. I'm on 16mbs, for £10 a month with no limits. I can get 16mbs any time of the day. I'm pretty sure I've downloaded way more than 6gb over a day too.
