Hi guys,

I am torn between these two PSUs and I could not decide which one to get. Can you guys please help me? I am planning to have two HD4870x2 in crossfire and some water cooling. Thanks guys.

Also, what do you guys think about the Zalman ZM1000-HP 1000w psu?

Corsair FTW!

I was HOPING that my power supply would be faulty just so I could replace it with that Corsair 1000W, if that means anything to you. I've got it sitting in a package, untouched, but alas it will have to be returned since there's nothing wrong with my PSU at the moment.

Hope that helps you make your mind up

Eh, what?
If it makes you feel any better the Ultra X3 is almost identical inside to the Corsair 1000w - both units are meade by CWT (Channel Well Technology)

Oh well that's good to know (ps I just found out that the squeaky sound in my computer is NOT my power supply, it's my graphics cards under load!) So the ultra X3 1000W is also a good PSU. But the Corsair has 10A extra and has a slightly larger fan 140mm, vs 135 on the X3.
