Why don't you listen!

Turn it off. Unplug. Call taxi. Say "Sim Lim Sq." to the driver. And have the cooler reseated.

the cooler you have is supposed to be only a few degrees behind the TRUE, so definitely not your cooler's problem. Like everyone else says, it could be that you have no thermal paste at all, or possibly way too much. If you're afraid/don't know how to apply thermal paste and reseat the cooler yourself, you should find somebody that does before you run more high cpu-usage programs on your computer. Also, if the computer is dusty, blowing it out would probably help.

If you don't want to pay money yourself, why don't you read a tutorial on applying thermal paste and seating a HSF? Its really simple and thermal paste is cheap.

but wouldn't it be better to learn how to do this yourself and not have to spend money like that?
