Some more update on this project.

Putting on the hose is a lot harder then I expected, I had to put the hose into hot water before push it onto the barb to make things easier.

Motherboards with water blocks on

Installed motherboard to chasis

Putting the hose for CPU to NB waterblock

It was hard to put them on, how did you guys take them off to clean?

i believe CD has a worklog for the cosmos and what he did was cut a fan hole on the HD rack and mounted a radiator there

Nice setup! Gunna be real nice when its completed!

Just a tip, I would strongly suggest buying some high-quality metal fittings instead of using the crappy plastic ones that come with the Swiftech products... I use D-Tek 1/2" Chromes that have a recessed O-ring which is excellent for preventing leaks at the barbs. The black plastic barbs don't have a recessed O-ring which would make me nervous. I have used the D-Teks on every possible connection (only one I couldn't use 'em for was the pump) with every loop I've built and they have never leaked.

To OC'ing,

I was actually thinking of re-do the HD rack to put more fans in the case for more air circulation. However, I don't know the size of the rivet they are using, which make me scare of taking the case a part.

To MCBrown.CA

I was thinking of using tie wrap or zip tie, when I put on the hose onto the barb, I had really hard time to put on. As of right now, i haven't even figure out how to un-hook them when i want to clean my loop and stuffs. So my question is the metal fitting really necessary?

Thank you so much for all your commens and advices.

No, metal barbs are truly necessary but they provide some peace-of-mind. I was going to use 7/16" tubing on 1/2" barbs when I built my first loop about a year ago but the loop is built into my case (cannot remove the loop) so pulling the 7/16" tubing off the barbs inside the case for drainage/cleaning would have been next to impossible. So I used 1/2" and I've been totally satisfied.

Zip-ties will work great! Maybe double 'em up where you have the space just to be safe.

Sorry for the long wait. Anyway, I am completed my system, below are some pix

Everything come together

Bleeding the system

Complete Bleeding and move on to 24 hrs leak check

Everything back to where they suppose to

Now that I am done, I have a few questions

1) My ambient temperature is about 20-21C (65 to 70F) my normal temp is 33C and load temps is 40C, Is that normal? SHould I re-seat the water block?

2) Is there anyway for me to check on the temperature of my Northbridge?

3) Also, what speed should I set for my pump? Right now I am setting the pump to run at number 2, is it too slow?

Thank you for all your help
