GPU2 + Vista 64

Thread Starter
I notice severe stuttering in webpage scrolling and game play (Specifically, HL2:EP2) when GPU2 is running on this OS. Has anyone had any similar experiences or could offer a fix (other than shutting down GPU2, which works)?

hey burn,

it could be the priority being reset when it finishes. i haven't had the problem on x64 yet.. try setpriority and set it to the lowest i guess and see if that helps.

that would be something that i would consider doing too. BUT he is also experiencing it when on the web. don't really think he wants to pause it whenever he wants to go on the web.

Make some changes in your config (NOT EXACTLY like this image; read below!)

Change Core Priority to Lowest Possible.
Check Do NOT lock cores to specific CPU.

Restart F@H. If your application performance is still poor, start moving the CPU Usage Percent slider to the left.

My friend had the same problem on his 9800. He would just pause the folding. I don't know if the drivers effected it or not, maybe if you switch drivers it would help.
