cpu is an e2200 dual core
memory is 2 gig stick of value crucial memory @ 5-5-5-15 800 @ 722

core v = 1.4 : in cpu-z reads 1.360
vid = 1.35
multi = 11
fsb = 250

Okay, I know nothing of E2200, but I can still help ya out here.

Try starting with loosening up the ram timings to the loosest possible. Then overclock your CPU by 1mhz steppings and running Prime95 for 30 minutes. Keep on repeating until Prime95 gives an error. Then, if it does, crank up the vCore a bit. Then keep on doing it. I wouldn't recommend passing 1.4v until someone finds out what the max Vcore is for the E2200

Hope that helps, sorry that i couldn't explain better

ps. you might want to also crank up the memory voltage.

Vcore = stay under 1.5v and watch your temps

I would try other settings; for instance I needed 2.1v for the ram to get anywhere over 2.2ghz. You might try juggling things around a bit, what gamer11200 said is the proper (yet so very slow) method of finding your wall. If you hit a fsb wall and adding vcore doesn't help, try adding some voltage elsewhere, if nothing else you can trial and error your way without damaging anything too severely.

What cooling solution are you using? OEM probably won't safely get you to 3.0ghz but a cheap xigmatek hdt-1283 should fix that right up.

Oh, as for the CPU-Z showing different Vcore, the voltage usually fluctuates i find.

SX4thewin is correct with what he says and I would trust his opinion more since he looks like he's been overclocking longer than I have.

even with that high of a vid, i think u can go to at least 3.0. my 2180 is able to hit 3.0 with about 1.3vcore. my vid is 1.2875. also, u will need to fill in your system specs... go to user cp.

The E2xxx chips seem to like ~333 fsb. Try 333x9 for 3ghz. Run the ram at 1:1 at first. If you can get that stable, try some different dividers to get close to 800mhz. If not, run 1:1 and tighten the timings to 3-3-3-10 or 4-4-4-12. These settings have worked for me on multiple motherboards/CPUs with the allendale core.
