My x2 performed better on my 42"@1920x1080 then on my monitor @1680x1050. Not that the lower res performance was bad though.

If you are going to get the 4870x2 you are going to need a better PSU, I had a 700Watt (SLI-ready 80+quality) PSU and it caused my card to crash. After I bought the HX1000 Watt PSU from Corsair it went fine.

On Fallout 3 at 1920x1200 with my new 4870X2, I maxed out every setting in the game, and most of the time I got 50fps with dips to 25 fps.

I'm running fine on a Corsair TX650W.
According to Kill-A-Watt, my system only pulls about 550w at full load.
