... what is the TJmax???
I'm using Everest and there is a fairly huge difference between the cores at idle and load. I wanted to redo thermal paste, but it's going to mean taking apart my entire loop again unless there is an easy way?
If you're asking what TJMax is, it's Intel specification of the max temp of a chip, above that it will slow/shut down. There's sensor on the chip that measures distance away from TJMax and programs use that to detect the chip's temp. TJMax - Distance from TJMax = CPU temperature. The sensor is only accurate over 50C, so if you get a temp below 50C, just assume it's below 50C and not any specific temperature.
