[dvHW] NVIDIA 3D glasses to cost $199? - Page 2

at NVISION there were glasses-less 3d displays, why not use those?
i could get a nice 22" monitor for the price of those glasses XP
The monitors have supremely narrow viewing angles, the glasses will allow full 3D to anybody in the room... I wonder if it will work with all those new 120Hz HDTV's.

edit:

begins to think his friend was not so silly for running on about 120hz LCDs...

I wonder how long it takes some kid to kill someone thinking he was playing a game with these glasses.

Yeah, but what about people (like myself) that need to wear prescription glasses? Hopefully there will be a wraparound style glasses to cover us crippled eye people.

Cool, now maybe I can utilize the "120hz 3d capable" that was pitched to me when I purchased my 65" Mitsu DLP.

If you get a chance "click" on the source and follow link to the pictures, there is a lot of quality information...The nvidia glasses are designed to wear over prescription glasses.. BTW this TV has a"3d" connection that the nvidia product requires..follow the link then scrol down to the user manuel, click on that and there is a picture of the back of a tv and a connection labeled "3d input" http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...732&CatId=1830

If these are effective they are worth every penny. They are pretty exclusive and you will have to pay of that luxury

That was a joke right? I don't think we're quite at the Lawnmower Man stage yet
