If you want to play GTA IV i would go with a 1GB Video Memory because new games are supporting the 1GB

Even if a game supports 512+ MB on the video card it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll see any difference. It mostly is a factor only if you play at the higher resolutions, such as 1920x1200 or higher. Otherwise it's a big waste of money.
