Air compressor via HVLP gun with Dupont flat satin black. But you can buy a spray can of flat satin black too.

Yes black for the interior and blue for the outside, 2 coats I used with 5 min flash time between them. I guess that's personal preference, Black will show imperfections a lot more then white will if you make a mistake, White is more forgiving. White also reflects light less and thus wont be so reflective as a dark color.

take it apart. I mean all the rivets. Scuff it up. use etching primer wait 24 hours after 3 coats x 20 min.
Paint interior pieces with dupli-color Satin Black from Advance auto part. wait 48 to 72 hours before you reassemble.

On the outside. Wet sand the case with 800 Grit Sand paper and clean wait 2 hours. After 2 hours go over your outer pieces with a hair dryer looking for water in every crack. Its very important to Paint @ 72 F. or above degrees with good ventilation and wear a mask. NO HUMIDITY or the paint will milk up on you..

Again Spray x3 with etching primer. Wait 24 hours. Then Paint the outside with color of choice x5 by 20 minutes per coat. ThIN COATS. Dupli-color automotive spray paint and wait 48 to 72 hours for reassembly.
Prep and take YOUR TIME>>>>

Yes, I sprayed one coat then waited actually 5-7 min for it to flash (dry) then I painted the second coat. Waited a hour and a half before I touched or moved it.

The primer was very thin on the inside of my case a easy sanding with 220 grit was all it took to expose it for good adhesion. Im positive your case is no different on the inside if it has light grey primer. You'll see metal poke through a couple minutes into sanding you dont need to remove all of it for the inside.

Here is a pic you can see the difference I scuffed the primer just enough to allow good bite for the satin black coating.
