2k games and ea are now using physix, so most games wil now benifit from it as of next year, just in case anyone didnt know, ea own crytek!!
so imagine crysis 2 with a high frame rate because u have a second graphics card for physix!!
you got a source? last time i checked ea was eyeing crytek like 3 years ago and didn't go through with it.

forgot about blizzard's games we've been waiting almost a decade for? Finally DX10.1 being utilized and some games optimized for ATI for a change and how the can of awesomeness Activision will come out with for the years to come.

but yes the title is a little out there...

a single 4870 would give 8800gts g80 sli a run for its money........

and the 3rd card for physX would only take load off of the CPU ...

i don't mean to burst your bubble, but your CPU will be maxed out running the SLI alone, maybe even to the point of bottlenecking them. What is it clocked at?

ATI has definitely been putting out some higher performing cards lately if you go by benchmarks alone. Other than that, they still need to tighten up their support and designs. That new 4850X2 looks cool on performance and price, until I saw it is 11.25 inches long, has two fans on top that don't exhaust outside, and has 4 DVI ports on the end. What is the point of all that?

Nvidia is still selling better than ATI, because Nvidia has something ATI will never have.

Brand Preference.

Go survey 100 people on your local wow CS:S or COD 4 server. They're all using Nvidia.
