Thread Starter
Hey when i was ocing my gfx with rivatuner and when i when i change the core and ran a benchmark (3d mark 06) my rating gets lower and lower and now when i reboot my comp its lagging and wont let do anything. It wont let me play css or click any programs. I dont know much about bottlenecking but my friend told me that it was caused by bottlenecking. If anybody can help me I appreciate it.

My gfx evga 260 core 216
Cpu: Intel E8500 core 2 duo

You need to go to usercp at the very top of your window, click it and go to "add system" and fill in your system because there is more to it than just those two components, more than likely though you should be running smoothly with that video card and cpu.

If you cant even get into css, then your oc is probably unstable, very unstable.

Then something else must be wrong, most likely drivers.

Are you using the latest bios? Aside from that make sure you install the gforce/nforce drivers correctly.

When I had the 750i, I had the same stuttering issue, that a re-install of the video drivers fixed. (un-install old drivers, reboot in safe mode, run driver sweeper, ccleaner, reboot, install new drivers)

I also believe it was an issue with rivatuner, and sli, but a fresh install couldn't hurt.

Some people have been having issues with the latest nvidia drivers where it's throttling the core speed at different temp thresholds.
